Eating day after day and soooo much!

OMG! Ok so been really busy with my family and visiting my grandmother lately. So, been at grandmas house eating everything my auntie Lynn makes.

From corn beef w/green banana, enchiladas, chicken alfredo, burritos, granola you name it I've eaten it there lol On the weekend went to a graduation at UH for family and a friend.

Went to Kua Aina and holy smokes check out our order ha ha ha ha ha! Also this past Sunday my brother and his wife made a korean meal for my dads bday. It was really nice! I enjoyed:)
There are a lot of things missing because I got there a little late lol OOPS! But I must say my favorite was the

SMOKED MEAT ;)

In May both my dads celebrate their bdays and so I ate really good  this past Sunday lol And now I feel it in my step....now that I'm like 5 Ibs heavier....NO JOKE! But I must say I enjoyed everything! Tomorrow is my lil sister KC's bday so we'll what happens with that. I'm making chicken nuggets, rice, corn and were having ice cream for dessert. Nothing special but something that I know the kids and my hub will devour. So I'll keep you updated with this coming week. Have a great week everyone!!!

Fatness all weekend LONG :?

So, this Mother's Day weekend was crazy fun filled with yummy FATTY foods lol OMG! I can feel it in my arteries SERIOUSLY! But, I still have a little more so until its gone I'm going to eat it ha h ah a. So here is what I had on Sunday and so far today Monday 5/10.  For mother's Day my bff got some octopus for me on Sat. but i was too busy that day I wasn't able to eat it till Sun. morning.

I heated it up in the pot and added some garlic until it boiled for a lil bit. Afterwards I ate it like soup by adding a lil water to it. The coconut milk its in is so rich, and so a lil water won't take away any flavor.

Like you already saw from my last post I ate @ Kua Aina's. Well I loved it so much I had to go again on Mother's Day Sunday lol of course I got the same thing. BLT avocado sandwich. This time it seemed like I got even more avocado...I was in heaven for a nice 5 mins *sigh* and as soon as you know it, it was gone :( But it was so good!
By the way I look hash cus while I waiting in the car for my food I fell asleep...lol Its all G! ;)
My mum and dad were having a BBQ, I knew they were but I wanted a Kua Aina sandwich so bad I didn't care. I didn't get a pics of the bbq but of course I ate it too. There was yummy chicken and kalbi. Don't know how I fit it all in my tummy but I did :)

Afterwards Fabe made some of his yum red velvet cupcakes. Ate that for dessert and heading off to dream world. Oh happy night it was for me :)

Woke up this morning and still had 2 coco puffs, so I had one. Then after eating that sweetness I wanted something salty and a little spicy....so I ate some saimin too! A new flavor introduced by aunt Lynn. So yummy! It has the salty and a tad bit of spice not too much. I'll post the rest of my day if its worth it lol Maybe Kua Aina's again....NAH! I'm broke already! Hope you all had a great Mother's Day! Have a great day!!! :)

Happy Mother's Day!

So this weekend after our "engagement" photo shoot in Haleiwa lol We decided to go eat at
Kua Aina's
66-160 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI 96712
(808) 637-6067
I got the burger I didn't get to get the last time I went because they ran out of bacon and avocado. So, I was super excited to order my BLT avocado sandwich....OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MYYYYYYYYY!!!
It was HUGE!

1/2 way through it and you can see how loaded it is Hands down the BEST BLT I've ever had in my LIFE!
I'm totally going there tomorrow lol My husband got a Avocado burger which is the most popular burger and TA DAH!

It was a 1/2 Ib burger medium well w/grilled onion, pineapple, pickle, avocado, lettuce and tomato. I thought it was great, but not as good as my sandwich. It was huge too, you had to use 2 hands to eat this thing. They are massive! These sandwiches cost about $7-8 but if you add things like cheese, onions, avocado, pineapple etc. its like 50 cents-$1.50 extra. I know it seems like a lot for just a lil something something to add some UMMP to your burger but it makes a big difference. I also need to mention that they put a hell of a lot of avocado which I like :) Oh and the fries, they're yummy too!

Perfect match w/the burgers and sandwiches. I would recommend this place to anyone craving a good burger or sandwich and has a big appetite.

Ok, so we ate this for dinner but.......there was another surprise! Can you guess my favorite Bakery w/the best coco puffs on Oahu? If you guessed Liliha Bakery
515 N Kuakini St, Honolulu, HI (808) 531-1651
you are right!!!! I got my Mother's Day cake here. The first time I ever had a coco puff cake.

ohhhhhhh!!! Yeah!!!!

Check out how much frosting they put on that thing :)

And look who got the first 4 puffs lol I guess he deserves it too right? Thanks hun! To all the Mother's out there have a great one! If you don't get surprised by anyone I hope you treat yourself to something nice. Something nice to eat perhaps, some "ME" time as long as you remember and celebrate being a mother. Mucho love from this mamacita! I better get to sleep its one of those midnight posting again lol G'night to all! ;)

Another town run....and so on

So, yesterday I went to town w/my mom once again to make a run to Fed Ex. Stopped by McD's for a quick dollar menu feast. I helped my daughter finish her
it wasn't bad at all but I'm not too picky when its comes to the dollar menu. I didn't stop off at my Kalihi Market again. I figure the day was enough to last me the month lol Anyways we were only in town really quick and then rushed home to be on time to p/u my girls from school. When we got there to p/them up I found out it was someones bday and that they had refreshments. I thought they were so cute! Did they taste great? Not really, the icing was super sweet, the cupcake dry but the rice crispy was nice lol

All in all it was just nice to look at. I guess who ever made it thought well there just kids they probably don't care :P I shouldn't complain I should just appreciate but I'm just saying lol Since this is my blog I can ramble as I do ha ha ha ha Anyways for dinner I had meat pie from my moms work ate it so fast I wasn't able to take a pics of it. It was really oily but so tasty. Don't you just hate it when your eating something that tastes so good but you know when you finish it your gonna regret it and feel like a fat blob? Well it was one of those lol To add to that me and my family all had Teri burgers too. I'm so lame I didn't take pics but yah that was the menu for that day. It tasted like a May's teri burger had lettuce, tomato and the bun. Nothing fancy but for me when you add ranch and ketchup.....ohhhhhweeeeee! It was great after that! :)

Poly food

So, the other day I had to run errands to town with my mom and kids. I normally take my mom and then she buys me lunch *sometimes* lol This day was one of those and I got to go to my most favorite poly food serving store on Oahu. Its called Kalihi Market
2161 North School Street, Honolulu, HI 96819-2565(808) 847-1673

Anyways this place has BOMB poly food. My favorites include chop suey, octopus in coconut milk, huli chicken, sweet potato, taro and tapioca all in coconut milk. Every chance I get to stop by this eatery in Kalihi I take it. I don't know how much calories are in this meal, but its so good I really don't care lol The store in nice and clean unlike some other stores I've been to. We've got a store called Masa's on our side of the island, but its got NOTHING on Kalihi Market and thats the truth.
Ok, so after all the errands and after such an AWESOME meal I decide to get a slurpee to wash it all down..
:) It was really nice!!
When I got home I didn't clean, I didn't cook, I just got all my kids in the door, locked it, and took my son with me to go have a nap. Good thing my son is good at taking naps when mommy wants too *well sometimes* lol You know how that goes right? So, I'm napping and all of a sudden I hear my cell ring and lo and behold its my hubby. I freak out, damn I don't even have any dinner ready or the house cleaned. So, I go pick him up from work, which is right down the road. As were driving back I slip out of my mouth, sorry I didn't cook or clean the house. Luckily he didn't really care *sigh* I felt kinda bad but what was I gonna do. So, we got home and then I went back to sleep ha ha ha ha ha and my hub was great because he just ended up cooking dinner. Then, he throws in a lil more and washes my:

He's a trooper! Thats why I love you babe ;)
That pretty much was my day! Anyways Mother's Day is coming up and I've decided I'm gonna get a special cake from Liliha's for my mom. Its actually for both of us because I actually really want it lol I know I'm terrible, but hey times are hard you gotta kill 2 birds w/one stone sometimes.... Ok maybe not, but I just decided to cuz my mom appreciates everything anyone gives her especially when it comes from me and she loves Liliha Bakery too. My husband has asked me what I wanted for MD and I just told him I wanted him to cook for me. BTW he is like Martha Stewart in a mans body. Yes, I do got it made I must admit lol So, he said he's gonna create a 3 course meal. And you know he's gonna make my red velvet cupcakes. Oh they are so yummy! I can't wait to show you what we end up doing. Hopefully everything goes as planned, and if not we'll just roll with it and maybe we'll be even happier w/something different.
Well its getting late and yes I know I've been blogging at midnights the past couple nights. So, forgive me if my grammar sucks or if I just ramble lol I better catch some zzzzs Its furlough friday tomorrow and I've got to keep my kids busy so they won't drive me crazy. Good night and to all you Mother's have a great Mother's Day! I'm sure you all deserve to be treated like the inner queens you all are! Take care everyone! Mwuah!

Rain rain I like the rain

So, this past weekend its been a lil rainy and I kinda like that sorta thing. I love being able to snuggle in bed under the covers w/my family or by myself. Enjoy good movies and the relaxation of the whole idea. Plus I don't have to worry about watering my garden and I have an excuse to drive my kids to school. Which, btw I normally walk them or bike them to school. I'm trying to make that a life habit for me. Its my way of staying active=healthy, saves me money on gas=more shopping and paying bills and most important it helps to save the world by not polluting the air. Yeah thats how I see it and with all the food I eat, those things are very important.

So anyways I haven't been going out on lil adventures to eat and all lately just because I've been doing it a bit too much which is fine, if I had all the money in the world to support my habits. But, I don't so I deal and I'm ok with it. So because of the lovely rain weather I look forward to eating my hot cocoa and crackers. I love this stuff! I really do and if you ever watched me eat this you'd be amazed at how many crackers I eat w/just one big cup of cocoa. Its crazy! Sometimes after I eat it I'm like OMG what did I just do? ha ha haha but what can you do if its tastes so good? So anyways yes thats been my lil treat for the past couple days.
Since, I haven't been eating out too much I've been cooking. Let me tell you I'm no Betty Crocker or Martha Stewart and far from it I must admit but I try my best. Nothing really blog worthy of posting mostly hot pockets, rice and what ever we have in the pantry and the occasional McD's lol But I was able to go to Sam Choy's this past weekend for my cousins wedding reception. It was a lovely intimate wedding and the buffet was so ONO! I've got pics worth seeing.
Tofu salad, toss salad and macaroni salad

Rice, stirfry veggies, mahi, chicken, steak and noodles=BOMB!

This was the chocolate cake very rich and moist

This was a pineapple cheesecake it was nice and light

Oh and the centerpieces were AWESOME! check it out!

Anyways this weekend I'll be having a photo shoot w/my hub down in Haleiwa town area and so maybe I might check out Kua Aina's or the other restaurants they have there. The first time I went to Kua Aina's I originally wanted the BLT w/avocado but they ran out of bacon and avocado so that went out the window. I then asked the worker whats most popular? Because I was in a rush and I was SUPER hungry I just said what do you suggest? He told me and all I heard was chicken and I said ok what ever you think would be good. I got the sandwich and realized it was some kinda of Teri chicken sandwich. It wasn't bad but I just thought it kinda sucked that we had to pay extra for toppings like tomato or cheese and stuff. I thought it was crazy when your burgers and sandwiches are expensive as is. But when it all came down to it my sandwich was pretty awesome. I didn't get to take a pics because we were far from our car and we were actually in the middle of a shoot....long story! But yah so I might go there if I don't hit Subway.
Well its late I better catch some sleep so I can get my kids to school on time. Until the next episode of Ina Eats this is Ina Mae signing off for tonight :) Sweet Dreams to you all!
