Turtle Bay Yummies

I LOVE the cafeteria food at work! Its $6 for an all-you-can-eat-buffet can't go wrong if you asked me!

I do take my camera to work daily and so when I LOVE what I eat and it looks cute I shoot! lol So here are a few things that I enjoyed at lunch this month lol

Miso Salmon /Cheesecake Factory

Did I ever tell you how super OBSESSED I am with Miso...ANYTHING? lol I've had miso butterfish which is my FAV!!! But, when I went to Cheesecake Factory this past month I tried their miso salmon

It was YUMMY! The sauce was DIVINE and price was GREAT! I did share it with my half of the table and they ALL loved it too! I believe it was $15 well worth every penny for sure!

Laie Chop Suey

Its been a while since I've been here. My aunt went through the temple today and I was kid-less lol So I thought it would be a great idea to treat my aunt to lunch. It was NICE! Of course because I'm a Vegetarian the first few dishes were ones that I ordered for me and y cuz Henry who is almost a vegan.

The bok choy was AWESOME w/the oyster sauce

Of course the walnut shrimp could use TLC but good enough to satisfy that craving :) and the vegetable chow fun below was YUMMY too!!

The rest of the items were ordered by others that I didn't partake of but they seemed to enjoy it

I forgot how cheap this place was. The staff is still AWESOME and its ALWAYS great to have a sit down lunch w/family and friends and practically everyone that walks in the restaurant knows you and of course small talk lol I LOVE Laie Chop Suey!!

Tsukiji Fish Market

This was the first time my family has been here and I would take them bake any day! I loved the variety there! My favs though were the mis mahi, stuffed salmon, crab legs and shave ice for dessert.

We came here as a family to Celebrate Roxy's turning 5 because she wanted to eat crab legs lol

So she got her wish!

The Sushi there was pretty good here were my favs 

 

 I liked the assortment of desserts but my fav was the shave ice! Something about the sweet flavors get me everytime :)

This fish was so YUMMY!!! It was small kine dry but the flavor was totally there!

 I was surprised by the saimin that it was very tasty! The broth as well as the noodles. Impressive!!

SUBWAY goes vergetarian

Yes so for those who don't know I have become a vegetarian and this happens to be my most FAVORITE sandwich at SUBWAY. I normally change the bread from Honey oat to the flat bread but the veggie patty stays the same. Its so YUMMY!!!

Thought I'd share...what are waiting for?? Go try one! :) $7 for a foot long not bad!

Kahuku Famous Shrimp

This place is by far my most FAVORITE shrimp truck EVER!!! New faces all the time but they always deliver with a smile :)

I've been coming here since I was young and they still remain to be the only shrimp truck that takes the shell off for you :) I LOVE that!! Save me time, more time to eat and enjoy!

I think the menu has increased $1 since I was a young girl and I thought that was GREAT!! What surprised me was how cheap the mahi was lol

Uncle's Fish Market

I've heard so much about this place and on this day I just happened to be in town at the right time and place and I thought to myself I've got to try this place out. So, turned in to the pier and found a spot to park in, went in and started looking at he menu. Their prices are pretty high for me, but I wanted to taste the freshness of the seafood here. I asked for the most popular dish and ordered it. My mom was me and so she orders her favorite which is Calamari

This is the appetizer me madre ordered, calamari and chips $14.95. I liked it, wasn't really expecting what we got but the cocktail sauce HIT da spot!!

I ordered the Parmesan crusted mahi or something I forget and it was $19.95. I ate the whole thing and I wasn't even hungry :/ Would I normally do this? NO! If I spend $20 I at least would like to have some left overs but, the taste was there, portion....not really but I would go there just to try something else. It was FRESH! I know I could count on them for that, and that is a BIG deal

They didn't spell our names correctly but, Hey its the thought that counts lol It was nice to have all the chefs sign the menu too :)

They had AWESOME non-alcoholic beverages...BEST I've ever seen and the selection was HUGE! It was GREAT!!

• Stacked on Crispy Won Ton, Spicy Aioli and Wasabi Soy Sauce

• Hawaiian Vanilla Panna Cotta, Coconut Tapioca, Haupia Sorbet, Pineapple Salad, "Shaved" Pineapple

• Kula "Strawberries Romanoff"
• Hawaii Island Dairy Goat Cheese Panna Cotta, Kula Strawberry-Hibiscus Consomme, Goat Cheese Sorbet

• Ginger Crusted Pacific Long-Tail Red Snapper
• Miso Sesame Vinaigrette, Organic Hamakua Mushroom & Corn

• Twice Cooked Shortribs Soy Braised & Grilled "Kalbi" Style
• Gingered Shrimp, Ko Choo Jang Sauce

I don't eat meat anymore but I must say this smelled great and it literally fell apart after this shot

 I thought this restaurant was AWESOME!!! I would for sure go there again if it weren't so expensive. The ambiance was very romantic, the view was so-so, the food AWESOME!, service was great and I thought they were so personable with all the little details they had. Quite an experience for sure!! Thank you BABE!!!
