Cheese Ball recipe from Kristen Tuifua

Ok so today I went over to a friends house. Every month these mothers get together and exchange recipes, cook, eat and enjoy each others company. If you have children its alright and I thought that was awesome. Of course I don't have any children to bring but if I did its nice to know I could without feeling too bad. Anyways so here are the ladies that attended today:
Maeva, Moana, Kristin, Larissa, Wendy, Alohi and I

There was pizza

Egg white & avocado salad

raspberry macaroons

flour less chcolate cake

chicken carbonara

And my FAVORITE one the simple cheese ball!!! I LOVE cheese and cream cheese you put it together w/what ever and I'll be your BEST FRIEND ha ha ah ah ah

I couldn't get over it so when I went to buy my shopping today at Food Land I got 2 items that I didn't already have and I made it for my appetizer tonight. I forgot about the nuts so I had to use what I had and the only thing that I could think of that looked nice was furikake. And so here is my creation thanks to the inspiration I got today.
So you need 1 package of cream cheese, 1c of cheese, 1tbs of garlic, 4-5 dashes of the liquid smoke(I didn't have any so I just got the one in the picture because it was on sale) and some nuts for the outside(I realized that I didn't have any so used furikake but, the nuts would've been so much better)

Thanks Kristen for sharing this :)

So much FUN I can't wait to do this again!!! Thanks for visiting today :)

Waiahole Poi Factory

If you like Hawaiian food and you haven't eaten at Waiahole's Poi Factory....well, then your missing out. They are only open Fri-Saturday from 10-3pm. You've got to go over and try it out if your in the area or are craving some hawaiian food and are willing to go for a ride. The plate I normally get is the combo plate and I share it with my mom or my hub. Here is a pics:
Now, I'm only rating based on the everything but the lau lau and I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10 and the reason is for the brown rice. Its hard nowadays to find places that automatically give you brown rice instead of having to pay a dollar or more extra for a scoop. Anyways stop by and try them out really good food!

Wilson's bday @ Payao Thai Restaurant & Hokulani

Every time I go near Restaurant Row I have to stop by 2 places and that is Hokulani and Payao...and this is why
Hokulani was the first all cupcake store on the island and has held the reigns since 2005. They recently won cupcake wars on the Food Network and I was proud to say that, that was my bakery!
This is the reason why they are one of my fav...there red velvets are YUMMY!!! They run for about $2.25 a pop and their specialty ones normally are $3.25 like the one I featured below. Sorry about the quality it was taken with my phone.

Waialua fudge in the middle...YUM!

If they had any leftovers from the day before you can get a box for $8...and lucky me cuz I got a box lol
This is not the only cupcake shop I go to there are a few others that I have mentioned in the past and there are some news ones that I still have to try but I believe that there are about 4-5 all cupcake shops on the island. Not to worry I've gone to 3 of them so 2 more to go...stay tuned for those
Payao Thai Restaurant

I LOVE my thai food but I've been kinda cutting back on my food intake and so I only got 2 plates. I got the shrimp red curry w/peanuts and calamari. They were really good I ate all of it. One plate goes for about $9 but, its yum and its kinda healthy. I give this place 8 out of 10.

Ruth's Christ take 3 lol

Ok so Ruth's Chris is my husbands favorite steak house...and well since I've become a vegetarian last year its not one of my favs anymore. However since it was Valentines Day and I didn't know what to get for him I decided to take him to dinner. I was hoping to get a nice salmon but, they didn't have it as an entree so here is what we got: Of course the Salmon appetizer I got was AWESOME!!! It was a special they normally don't have this....so I was EXCITED!!! This was pretty much my main dish because I didn't want to the mahi mahi so that was my reason for getting this dish and I'm happy I did. I'll give it a 9 out of 10

I LOVE the lavosh...10 for sure! I got like 3 refills lol
Stuffed crab mushrooms were very good and I don't know if it was because there wasn't very many choices for me but, I really enjoyed it. I give it a 9 out of 10.

Who cares about the cowboy rib eye steak :P Nah, he said it was good and if he would ate it, it would be a 10

Of course we had to get our garlic mash and sweet potato yummness!!

Oh you know this got a 10....along w/a scoop of vanilla haagen daz and VOILA hit da SPOT!!!

That was a quick view of Vday for us...Hapy Vday babe next vday were going some where else lol I want SUSHI!!! So stay tuned for the next suhi stop :) Thanks for joining me! Come again...tah tah for now

I LOVE the cafeteria food at work! Its $6 for an all-you-can-eat-buffet can't go wrong if you asked me!
I do take my camera to work daily and so when I LOVE what I eat and it looks cute I shoot! lol So here are a few things that I enjoyed at lunch this month lol
This was brought by a co-worker of mine from Phuket thai

My FAV pastry at work

My favorite dessert at work. Taste like fudge :)

Miso Salmon /Cheesecake Factory

Did I ever tell you how super OBSESSED I am with Miso...ANYTHING? lol I've had miso butterfish which is my FAV!!! But, when I went to Cheesecake Factory this past month I tried their miso salmon

It was YUMMY! The sauce was DIVINE and price was GREAT! I did share it with my half of the table and they ALL loved it too! I believe it was $15 well worth every penny for sure!

Here are a few pics of what others had on my table

It was a FUN night and BDAY BASH was GREAT!

Laie Chop Suey

Its been a while since I've been here. My aunt went through the temple today and I was kid-less lol So I thought it would be a great idea to treat my aunt to lunch. It was NICE! Of course because I'm a Vegetarian the first few dishes were ones that I ordered for me and y cuz Henry who is almost a vegan.

The bok choy was AWESOME w/the oyster sauce
Of course the walnut shrimp could use TLC but good enough to satisfy that craving :) and the vegetable chow fun below was YUMMY too!!

The rest of the items were ordered by others that I didn't partake of but they seemed to enjoy it

I forgot how cheap this place was. The staff is still AWESOME and its ALWAYS great to have a sit down lunch w/family and friends and practically everyone that walks in the restaurant knows you and of course small talk lol I LOVE Laie Chop Suey!!
